Dr Nicholas Sjoberg is a consultant geriatrician based in Adelaide, South Australia, with extensive experience in geriatric medicine, older persons mental health, and comprehensive geriatric assessment. He is passionate about delivering holistic, patient-centered care that supports older adults in maintaining independence and quality of life.

Dr Sjoberg completed a PhD in cardiovascular research prior to undertaking medical training, bringing a strong academic foundation to his clinical practice. His research background informs a nuanced understanding of complex multimorbidity in older patients.

He currently holds a Staff Specialist position in Geriatric Medicine at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he contributes to inpatient care, outpatient services, and multidisciplinary team assessments. Dr Sjoberg is also a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and junior doctors.

His clinical interests include cognitive disorders, frailty, and integrated care models for older adults. He is committed to advancing geriatric care both within the hospital system and in the community through collaborative practice and education.
